Yard Design Features
The SY190 yard plan is a safe and efficient yard design. Designed for handling up to 190 head of cattle, the cattle-free area, circular c-force pen and 3-way drafting module in this design make cattle handling safer and more efficient.
Holding Pens
The SY190 has 3 holding pens designed to hold mobs of up to 50 head of cattle. The curved design of the pens helps to encourage cattle to flow from one pen to the next.
Circular Forcing Pen
The SY190 features a C-Force rotary forcing gate that feeds into a curved race. With the C-Force gate, you can safely reduce the size of the circular forcing pen as cattle enter the race. The gate locks quietly into bars on the outside of the pen every 0.5m so that it cannot be pushed back onto the operator.
Load-Out & Ramp
Positioned off the curved race, the load-out race is accessed by an easy-to-use diverter gate. Our yard plans come with either a stepped loading ramp or a load out module, depending on what best suits your site.
3-Way Drafting Module
The SY190 yard plan features a 3-way drafting module that is easy to operate via wire rope controls positioned at the rear of the crush. This allows one operator to draft cattle safely and easily.
Cattle-Free Working Area
The SY190 yard plan has a cattle-free working area, which provides a safe and secure area to work and store supplies. Personnel gates at both ends of the area provide easy access.
Curved Race with Catwalk
The curved race with 1.0m wide catwalk makes inspecting cattle safer and easier. The catwalk is wide enough so that operators can easily pass each other without stepping down. Available in timber or FRP mesh options.
Personnel Access Gates
Access gates throughout the cattle yard allow handlers to move around quickly and safely. These gates are placed strategically and come with anti-rattle slam latches, making them quick to open/close and quiet.
Anti-Rattle Slam Latches
Our anti-rattle slam latches have noise-reducing nylon bush inserts, easy-to-use handles, and a compact strike plate. The reduced noise helps keep the animals calm, and the compact design reduces the risk of injury.
